Orange head roaches are beautiful feeder roaches that make a great substitute for dubia. Nymphs are a shiny dark brown and like to burrow through the substrate. Adults have orange and black markings on their pronota and tend to stay above ground. Adults tend to chew on each other’s wings, this is perfectly normal and doesn’t harm the roach. This species appreciates a variety of fruits and vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, apples, or oranges.
